Celebrating partners at the first annual Partner Kickoff

Yesterday was a big day for the Lacework Partner team. We launched our inaugural Partner Kickoff, celebrating all the amazing successes we achieved with our partners last fiscal year (FY2024). We could not be more proud of these achievements, and we’re excited to recognize our partners with several awards, including Channel Partners of the Year, MSP Partner of the Year, our Top Channel Contenders of the Year, Delivery Partners of the Year, and the Global CSP Partner of the Year.

Yesterday, Kevin Kiley (Chief Revenue Officer) and Brian Lanigan (VP, WW Channels and Partnerships) presented the Lacework FY2025 go-to-market strategy and the key role our partners will play. Tim Chase (Field CISO) discussed emerging market trends and our roadmap and Brett Oliker reviewed changes to the Lacework Partner programs as well as awards to our partners for their FY2024 performance.

When it comes to our partner ecosystem, our strategy is clear and concise: we are a partner-first company that drives our field to engage early with our partners and to build our strategy directly with them. In this recent CRN article, Brian Lanigan talks about his personal philosophy — our product is data-driven, but our partner strategy is too. 

The Lacework Partner program will continue to provide our channel, delivery, and MSP/SI partners with incentives, tools, and resources to support go-to-market efforts. In FY2025, Lacework will be adjusting and improving upon our incentives and level of service provided to our partners, subject to Partner Program terms, including:

  • Incentives to partners who lead Capture the Flag (CTF) and trials within our prospects
  • Increased incentives for generating pipeline as well as closing partner-sourced opportunities
  • Self-service access to incentive payments made to our partners
  • Free Lacework professional services consulting on the initial engagements led by our delivery partners
  • Improved sales enablement training content and sales resources

These complimentary enhancements will provide our partner ecosystems with the resources and incentives they need to drive their specific go-to-market motions leveraging the Lacework platform to enhance their sales and service offerings.
