RSA Conference 2024 is right around the corner, gathering professionals from around the world to discuss the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and solutions. This year, the theme is "The Art of Possible," which reminds us that effective security goes beyond technical skills — it’s also about trust, collaboration, and sharing knowledge. By working together, we can creatively solve problems and face both current and future challenges. As usual, there are a ton of great speaking sessions to choose from this year. Here are a few of the ones we’re most excited about.

CSA AI Summit: Integrating GenAI into Cloud Security Solutions

Monday, May 6 | 1:20–1:50 PM PT | Moscone South - 303

The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) AI Summit focuses on the intersection of AI and cloud technologies, including the challenges and best practices that come with it. In this session, our Global Field CISO Tim Chase and a panel of industry experts will discuss how companies are using GenAI securely and efficiently, how to incorporate GenAI into cloud security solutions, and which strategies cloud vendors are using to maintain the security and privacy of their data.

Regulation on the Horizon: What You Wish Your Lawyer Had Told You About

Monday, May 6 | 2:20–3:10 PM PT | Moscone West - 2011

Cyber regulations are top of mind for us and many of our customers. There are so many different rules popping up that apply to different industries, company sizes, locations — the list goes on. Plus, they all have different timelines, deadlines, and requirements. This session features a panel of lawyers, so it will be very interesting to hear their perspectives on what’s new and what’s important when it comes to cyber rules.

Getting to True Predictive Risk: Will Data Accuracy Thwart AI’s Potential?

Tuesday, May 7 | 9:40–10:30 AM PT | Moscone West - 2001

This session focuses on two things that have been top of mind for us lately: accurate data and supply chain security. We’re eager to hear more about why validated data is so crucial for AI and machine learning models, and how people are using it to better predict risks and enhance their supply chain security.

AI Safety: Where’s the Puck Headed?

Wednesday, May 8 | 9:40–10:30 AM PT | Moscone South - Keynote - 203

This keynote session brings together top minds from Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA, the Center for AI Safety, and Harvard to dive deep into the crucial topic of AI safety that's been on everyone's radar lately, exploring what it means, why it's so important, and how it will impact the future of cybersecurity. As we've heard from many CISOs over the past year, AI security is impacting almost every company. So we're eager to hear what these cyber experts think will happen next.

The Five Most Dangerous New Attack Techniques You Need to Know About

Wednesday, May 8 | 4:15–5:00 PM PT | Moscone West - Keynote

We also can't wait to check out the SANS session on the latest and most dangerous attack techniques. It's always a big draw, and for good reason — everyone wants to know what they think about the top threats companies are battling. We're especially curious to see if the attacks SANS is tracking match up with what our own Lacework Labs team has been seeing so far this year. Hearing from both sides will paint a clear picture of what the threat landscape looks like right now and help organizations figure out where to focus their defenses.
