Trey is the CISO at Floor & Decor, a 194-store, hyper-growth big-box retailer of hard surface flooring with $4.2 billion in annual revenue in 2022. Trey spent more than 20 years in the application development world before transitioning to security 3.5 years ago, where he found a renewed passion for technology. Trey spent the last 25 years on a tour of Atlanta retailers, including 15 years at The Home Depot in the application development space, two years as IT Director of New Initiatives, Food & Beverage for the airport retailer Paradies, and five years in various IT leadership roles at NAPA Auto Parts. Trey entered the world of cybersecurity at Floor & Decor
in November 2019 and has since been obsessed with
learning everything he can about cybersecurity and sharing
it with others.
As their CISO, he built and retains a team of top-tier security experts, and provides them with the tools, training, and support they need to be successful. He also stays relevant with technology and industry trends. Trey has a BS/BA degree in management information systems from Auburn University.
