Martyn Booth

Martyn is an information security leader experienced working at the board level to define information security strategies and then managing teams to implement those strategies. Martyn works with clients in a flexible and proactive way to meet stringent security requirements and adaptive needs, enabling businesses to design security processes and technical controls that support the business rather than inhibit it.
He has been credited with enacting cultural change in organizations with regard to security and has extensive experience managing large security teams in complex organizations, including both technical teams and governance and assurance teams.
As CISO at dunnhumby, a leader in customer data science, he is responsible for global security. Prior to joining dunnhumby, he was the CISO at Euromoney Institutional Investor, where he was responsible for global information security across the organization consisting of over 80 disparate businesses. He worked closely with the board and implemented a privacy program to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). He created two information security strategies and achieved board buy-in for them both.
He has also worked for companies including Utility Warehouse, Equifax, and PwC.
