Joshua Foltz has crafted a remarkable work history, leaving a trail of accomplishments that speak to his expertise and the strength of his personal brand. His achievements, ranging from optimizing costs and integrating acquired companies to introducing innovative methodologies and achieving compliance, highlight his unwavering dedication to security and technology.

Starting as a Security Consultant at CIBER, then later at Experis, he quickly distinguished himself with innovative ideas and strategic thinking. His contributions resulted in successful projects and increased customer engagement, surpassing delivery targets along the way. Transitioning to Optiv Security as a Solutions Engineer, Joshua had an opportunity to learn what worked and what did not from many Fortune 500 companies. Joshua’s leadership and his ability to navigate complexities ensured the timely delivery of projects and positioned him as a trusted figure with his customers.

At that point in his career, with 10 years of experience under his belt, Joshua accepted a role as CISO at Axcient, a backup software company. He established a security team, led IT, and helped successfully launch high-profile products, earning accolades for his attention to detail and seamless coordination. He was identified by K1 Capital and asked to join a yearlong executive training program to lead in all areas of business, including finance, marketing, sales, human resources, product development, and product management.

As a CISO, both at Insurity and NerdWallet, Joshua has played a crucial role in 12 acquisitions, executing diligence efforts and ensuring successful integration of acquired software products. He optimized operational processes by leveraging data-driven insights, overcoming challenges, and implementing effective solutions. His strong communication skills enabled him to present complex findings to stakeholders, enhancing decision-making and driving business performance.

Joshua has cultivated a personal brand built on excellence and continuous growth. His passion for learning led him to pursue an MBA from Yale School of Management, which commences May 2024.
