Modern CISO Network: Board Book

Jenny Dho is an information technology leader who draws on her more than 15 years of experience across a variety of sectors to deliver solutions that meet unique business needs. Her knowledge and experience of IT risk management and security allows her to design strategies to focus on relevant risks, and to align internal and external stakeholders (board audit committees, IT leadership, business operating divisions, outsourced partners, auditors, and regulators). Her experience across sectors — including retail, industrial manufacturing, engineering, banking, government, loyalty, and professional services — allows her to bring her lived experience to build relevant strategies to address each organization’s unique needs.

In her current role as CISO for SSENSE, Jenny is designing and implementing the information security program to meet the unique needs relevant to delivering a resilient luxury e-commerce platform and associated warehouse operations serving a global audience. At Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), Jenny worked with outsourced partners to restrategize the information security program and establish a governance program from operational teams to the board, including executive dashboards. In her role as Global CISO for WSP, she evaluated WSP’s ongoing cybersecurity risks and defined mitigation strategies in line with business needs. She presented quarterly to the Audit Committee on the status and effectiveness of IT compliance and cybersecurity initiatives. She chaired the Global Information Security Committee and was a member of the Group Corporate Shared Services and Global IT leadership teams. As part of the senior group leadership team, she facilitated WSP’s Digital Strategy development for the 2021 strategic plan.
