Jeffrey W. Brown is a distinguished information security and IT risk professional with 27 years of experience working with Fortune 500 financial giants like Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. Currently, he is currently the inaugural Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the State of Connecticut, where he is building a centralized cybersecurity program for a “whole of state” approach to cybersecurity. An accomplished author, his latest book, "Leading the Digital Workforce," was released in June 2023. Jeff is also co-Chair of Evanta's New York CISO Executive Summit and a regular speaker at industry events. He serves on the advisory boards of iQ4 and Cowbell Cyber. With a B.A. and M.S. from Pace University and multiple industry certifications, Jeff is a recognized authority in his field.
