Graeme Cantu-Park is an accomplished CISO with a remarkable background in the UK Special Forces. Known for his excellent communication skills and technical expertise, he provides invaluable context and advice to senior board members. He has experience across multiple sectors, including e-commerce, FinTech, and software. As a former UK Special Forces Officer, he is well-versed in team leadership as well as delivering upon technical engagements and managing large, diverse, and complex teams. Graeme currently serves as the CISO at Matillion, a provider of data transformation software for cloud data warehouses. He is responsible for platform and enterprise security, staff, and enterprise technology. Graeme previously worked at The Hut Group as their Global Head of Security Operations, where he oversaw the merger and acquisition (M&A) of multiple diversifications, led the buildout of security operations functions, and helped them prepare for an IPO. Before that, he was one of the original members and Head of Information Security at ASTO, a growing cloud-native (AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes) app-based finance platform backed by Santander. Graeme developed the company’s security strategy as they grew from 10 to 180 employees within 12 months. Graeme is a frequent speaker at various conferences and events. His talks primarily focus on cybersecurity in the commercial sector, enriched by his firsthand encounters with nation-state actors and cyber warfare.

As the Founder of CyberCircle, Graeme leads a remarkable initiative that bridges the gap between industry experts and charitable organizations, as well as locally funded school organizations. Through this platform, he facilitates the provision of free security advice and consulting services. He is a graduate of Liverpool and Cranfield Universities with a bachelor’s degree in E-Business and a master’s degree in Cyber Defence and Information Assurance and International Security. He is certified by the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) as a Senior Information Risk Advisor.
