Lacework Executives to Present at CyberSecurity International Symposium and SANSFIRE 2017

CEO Jack Kudale and VP of Marketing Isabelle Dumont to Discuss New Approaches to Cloud Security and Achieving Zero-Touch Breach Detection

July 7, 2017

Mountain View, CA, July 7, 2017 – Lacework™, a provider of cloud workload security solutions, today announced that Jack Kudale, CEO, Lacework, will be speaking at the CyberSecurity International Symposium on July 10-11 in Chicago. Additionally, Isabelle Dumont, Vice President of Marketing, will participate in a panel at SANSFIRE 2017 in Washington D.C. on July 25-26. The Lacework executives will discuss how organizations can adopt new cloud security technology to pave the way for a fully-integrated breach detection approach without policies, rules or logs.

“For security professionals and DevSecOps teams, existing security tools and practices just aren’t agile or effective enough for AWS, Azure or private cloud environments,” said Jack Kudale, CEO, Lacework. “In our session at the CyberSecurity International Symposium we’ll show why current approaches to cybersecurity are ineffective against predicting a hacker’s next moves and present ways to build a successful security ecosystem, bringing down the mean time to breach detection and threat mitigation.”

The CyberSecurity International Symposium will address the trillions of dollars in damage caused by cybercrime including the destruction of data, stolen money, lost property, and intellectual property theft and cover a variety of topics including the latest technologies for enhancing cybersecurity and reducing risk. The event will also highlight best practices and key lessons learned in the ever-evolving challenge to ensure end-to-end security for all types of organizations. Kudale’s featured presentation will take place at 9:00 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday, July 11.

Lacework will also present at the SANSFIRE 2017 training event as an opportunity to introduce the company’s Polygraph technology to the SANS Community. Polygraph delivers insights into cloud workloads – from users, to applications, processes, VMs, containers, and machines –  enabling instant detection of breaches and insider threats. The featured panel will take place at 5:45 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, July 25th.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to present live how our zero-touch security platform redefines cloud security and gives security professionals visibility and control over the thousands of entities that might be deployed in their cloud and the billions of events they generate every hour,” said Isabelle Dumont, VP of Marketing at Lacework. “We’ll highlight how Polygraph eliminates the reliance on labor-intensive policies and rules and time-consuming log correlation, giving security professionals a simple, yet complete picture of an attack or insider threat to respond more quickly and effectively.” Attendees to SANSFIRE 2017 can download a hands-on product review of Lacework Polygraph conducted by the SANS Institute at: https://info.lacework.com/sans-report-offer
